Tara and Chuck's Adventure Land Wedding
Tara and Chuck incorporated their mutual love for Disney in their gorgeous Valhalla wedding captured by Elsa Boscarello.
Take a look in to Tara and Chucks dream wedding.
There is no one better to tell you how Tara and Chuck met and fell in love than Tara,
“Tara, not usually a damsel in distress, found herself on the shores of, well, Darkshore in need of some brawn to defeat a quarry of stone golems and provide some much-needed assistance to an absent-minded professor. Chuck, not usually a knight in shining armor, aimlessly wandered in need of entertainment and loot. Using her wit and charm, Tara secured the aid of the handsome wandering hero (which is much better than a wandering monster - though it might be said Chuck could be both) and after many hours of fighting and flirting, myspace profiles were shared (yes, it has been that long.) Once eyes met profile pics, the two could not be stopped and Chuck raced across the country as fast as his tractor-trailer and the law would allow. At that time, Swift had ranked Chuck third in the country for safety.
Upon meeting each other in person for the first time, no force could separate them and they spent a month and a half on the road together in that same eight-foot by eight-foot tractor-trailer. As they survived the many perils facing two strangers spending an inordinate amount of time together in close quarters, they decided it was not quite enough time spent together and moved in after an appropriate time of about three weeks and have not been separated since. Though Tara and Chuck began their relationship with alacrity, they felt the need to slow down a little before committing to each other for life.
No one could have predicted we'd find ourselves here today thirteen years later. However, it is also true that no one could say Tara and Chuck share anything less than what the fantasy genre they started with deems the only reason to marry...true love.”
Tara and Chuck obviously have a big mutual love for all things fantasy, so it makes sense that they created the dream dark and moody Disney wedding. They incorporated tons of special details that highlight their dark Disney theme.
One way Tara and Chuck incorporated this theme was the hidden mickeys. For those who are not familiar with that concept Disney has “hidden mickeys”, the little mickey mouse symbol, all around their parks. They had them hidden all around their wedding to add a fun little piece for their guests to spot.
Another way they incorporated Disney was they named their tables after different Disney parks so that they could bring character to their guests' experience. Their escort wall was a map of the parks with adventure land being their sweetheart table. Their bar signage also had a little pop of Disney with their “Minnie” bar.
The ceremony circle created by Stems by Diana was like a majestic portal that surrounded the loving couple. This further expressed personalities of this couple with is mystical nature of their ceremony.
We wish Tara and Chuck an adventure and fantasy filled future!
