Top 5 Wedding Flower Tips for Brides

Choosing the right wedding flower is one of the most exciting parts of wedding planning. But it's a bit more complex than just picking an in-season flower. From narrowing down your Pinterest board to letting your primary colors pop, there are a few things you have to consider. Luckily, floral designer Holly Fleur is always keen to chat about blooms. So, without further ado, here are her top five flower tips for brides!

1.Trust your vendors

Selecting your vendors is tricky but knowing that they are experienced, seasoned and professional brings a sigh of relief when pulling together the details and logistics.

2. Select and determine a color palette

When allocating abs sticking to a budget, select and determine a color palette rather than focusing on specific blooms. This will save you money and allow your floral designer creative freedom and artistic license. We love a good inspiration photo but are over the moon when clients trust us to add our unique spin on creating something unparalleled for your event.

3. Don’t be afraid of color

Seriously, color rules. Be open to suggestions for pairing tones complementing your color palette and letting your primary colors pop. Your photos will thank you (and the compliments from your guests will come pouring in!)

4. Narrow down your Pinterest board

Inspiration photos are an awesome place to start, but too many boards or photos become overwhelming in creating a cohesive look. So instead, pick three or four floral photos that you love, and let’s chat about what’s speaking to you about their beauty.

5. Enjoy the process

Wedding planning is fun. It’s special. It flies by in the blink of an eye. Flowers bring the pretty to your party. So be open to suggestions, chat about clear expectations, and breathe in all the unique details of what floral design can bring to the table.
